Mini Card Sets...

Happy Wednesday! Today I want to share a few mini card sets. Each set includes four cards that were designed digitally and printed onto cardstock then placed in custom packaging with matching hand-folded envelopes.

The first set uses Marks Paper Company's new English Garden Collection (both the traditional and digital kits). The packaging for this set is made from a recycled Making Memories embellishment box that I covered and embellished. This project is the feature on the Marks Paper Company blog today.

The next two sets use Marks Paper Company's Autumn and Old Fashioned Courtship Digital Collections. For these sets, I made a little embellished bag/envelope package.

A few more birthday cards...

Today was the last day to get a birthday card entered the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol Contest. I entered a couple cards last week and I just submitted the two cards below. Currently, there are over 1200 entries. Even if you haven't entered, you should check out the gallery, there are so many amazing cards in there! Good luck to all who entered and to the Paper Crafts team that will have to narrow the entries down to 20 to move on to the next round!

Happy Birthday Cards...

Here are a couple hybrid cards I made using the new kit, English Garden, from Marks Paper Company. I also entered these cards in the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol 2009 contest. It's a fun contest and there is still time to enter, you can check it out here.

On this first card I printed the butterfly onto trace paper. It gives the wings a light and airy feel, they actually sort of flutter when you move the card around. On the second card, I love the clean and simple look, probably will make some more cards along this theme.

New Anna Griffin collection...

I found this new Anna Griffin collection, Darcey, at Michaels a couple of weeks ago. A few days after I bought some of it a friend asked if I had an extra "congratulations" card laying around, and to my surprise, I really didn't have very many of that type - so I made one with these new papers.

Products: Blank Card: PaperSource; Patterned Paper: Anna Griffin; Paper Tag: Anna Griffin; Ribbon: Pebbles; Gems: MAMBI; Scalloped Edge: Doodlebug; Letter Stickers: Pink Paislee; Fabric Tag: MAMBI; Ink: Clearsnap.

And then I made some 4th of July cards, this collection, being so bright and summery, seemed to be a perfect fit for that holiday. I like that the cards read very 4th of July, even though the papers are florals and swirls.

Products: Blank Card: PaperSource; Patterned Paper: Anna Griffin; Paper Tag: Anna Griffin; Felt Stars: Felt Stars: CPE, Inc.; Felt Letters: Making Memories; Stamps: Autumn Leaves, Creative Imaginations; Ink: Clearsnap.

Some quick cards...

I made these cards last month and am finally getting around posting them. I was so proud of myself with this project because I used supplies that I just bought that same day, that almost never happens. I was in Joann's and a lot of stuff was on sale. I bought two things, a sheet of Heidi Grace rub-ons and a set of Inkadinkado alphabet stamps. And when I got home, I just sat down and made these cards, completely used up the rub-ons! Maybe you do this all the time, but it was quite the accomplishment for me. There are three A2 sized cards and 4 little mini cards in the set.

Fun Hybrid Cards...

I have a few cards to show you today. I made these for my monthly post on the Scrapbook Graphics Blog - Studio Matters. Aren't the little bunnies, deer and bees adorable! You can find them in the MZ Boy and the MZ Girl Kits By Ziska and MGL Scraps. I included an explanation of the process to make this cards over on the Studio Matters blog, so if you are interested, check it out here. Thanks for stopping by today, I'll be back tomorrow with a few more projects.
